Summer Mission: Clarkston!

Imagine one of the most diverse communities in America where 60-70% of the population is foreign-born, representing over 50 countries and 100+ distinct ethnic groups all compressed within 1.4 square miles. This is Clarkston, GA. Known as the “Ellis Island of the South,”  there are great needs, but there are also great opportunities for churches and individuals to invest in the residents of this unique community.

This summer, PBF is sending a mission team to bring the gospel into this community!

We will be headed to Clarkston, GA this July 17–24.

This Clarkston Mission Experience is an immersive mission trip experience at the Send Relief Ministry Center in Clarkston, GA that allows you to engage in refugee ministry. The goal of this 6-day event is to give churches and individuals some practical training to learn more about refugee ministry while also providing plenty of opportunities for community outreach.

Our team will be participating in activities that include interacting with children during our summer camp – Camp Encounter, apartment outreach, evangelism training, refugee resettlement education, and free time to explore Clarkston and engage further in our diverse community.

This trip is open to PBF members (or their children), ages 12 and up. The cost per person is $400, which includes food, travel, and housing

There is limited space. Please sign-up ASAP!
