Join Us for a Reformation Party!

October's kids event is a Reformation Party!  You might wonder, 'What is a Reformation Party?'

A Reformation Party (at least at PBF!) is an event designed to help kids understand the gospel and how it has been preached and lived out across church history. How do we do this?  By presenting a short lesson, games, activity sheets, and lots of fun.  Though we want to take God's work in history seriously, we don't want to take to ourselves too seriously.

At the same time, we want to be clear that we are not worshiping or overly exalting men and women of the past. They were fallible people just like you and me. Nevertheless, we want acknowledge some of the many heroic acts, even faithfulness to martyrdom, of many who boldly declared the gospel--not for their own glory, but God's. It is ultimately God whom we honor as we think about the work he accomplished in and through his people in ages past.

So, please join us at the end of the month!  And please plan to serve. We need some adults who will help make sure the games run smoothly and help the kids have fun. We could also use a donated bag of candy.

Below is a sing-up link for attendance as well as volunteering.  Let us know if you're coming!

Here's a little song to get you in the mood. And if your Reformation history is a little rusty, here's a explanation of the lyrics
