A Very Special Prayer Gathering--April 7

For many of us, coming to church is the highlight of our week.  It’s a spiritual re-charge.  We worship together.  We pray together.  We read the Scriptures.  We hear the Word preached.  We enjoy fellowship with the gathered saints.  There is just no replacement for it.

Many of us felt our acute need for corporate worship about this time last year during the lockdown.  Even though we were able to worship online, it just wasn’t the same.  Our need for one another was obvious.  We longed to gather, and we were refreshed to return and worship together once again.

But imagine being prevented from coming to church for longer periods of time.  That is the experience of several beloved members of our body at PBF.   They have been prevented by various illnesses from joining us for many months at a time.

For that reason, we want to do something special for our monthly prayer gather next Wednesday, April 7.  We will meet at the church at the normal time—6:30pm.  We will briefly worship in song.  Then we will split up into groups, go to the homes of these members, stand outside, and pray for their physical healing and spiritual endurance.  Due to their continued health issues, it is not safe for us to enter their homes, but we want to be a blessing to them by showing our love and lifting our voices to the Lord in close proximity to them.

Please make every effort to join us!  Wednesday, April 7, 6:30pm.
