The Summer is a great time to start a Bible reading plan—three months with perhaps a bit more time on your hands. We have a host of great plans already on the resources page of our website.
But what if you want something even more specific… Like a slow drive through the Minor Prophets? Or reading the Pauline epistles repetitively? What about even reading the entire Bible in just three months?!
Finding a Bible reading plan tailor-made for your interests or needs for a specific timeframe used to be a challenge. However, I’ve stumbled upon a fantastic tool to help you customize a plan for yourself. You can find it at biblereadingplangenerator.com.
On the lefthand side of the page, you simply put in all the criteria for the plan you want. The following a just a few examples.
What day do you want to start?
How many days do you want the plan to last?
How would you like the plan formatted and exported?
What books of the Old and New Testaments would you like to include?
In what order?
What days of the week would you like to include?
Would you like a daily reading in Psalms or Proverbs?
Do you want to read the OT and NT at the same time?
Again, it’s a great time to start something new. Better yet, why not find a friend and read the plan together? You could get together once a week over the course of the Summer to discuss what you’ve read and stir one another up to love and good works (Heb 10:24-25)!
