News outlets and social media have been filled in recent days not only with reports about the conflict in Israel, but also with strong opinions about how these things should be understood.
A crucial question for us is: How should we think about these things as Christians? To answer such a question may require some understanding of the long history of conflict in the region, the current political realities, and the theological truths pertinent to the situation.
